WHY SHOULD I HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER?
For many couples, it is their very first time planning a wedding. They are confused as to where to begin, how much everything costs and how to choose suppliers. Planning a wedding is not only about choosing your colors, flowers and menu. There are logistical matters to attend to such as the timing of events, parking situations and knowing which suppliers are reputable. We are here to guide you through the process and to take care of all of these concerns. We are able to help save you time and money as well as your sanity so you can actually enjoy your wedding day!
DO YOU HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes, Lace Sixpence has public liability insurance for £2 million and employers liability insurance for £10 million.
DO YOU SUPPORT OR CATER TO ANY SPECIFIC RELIGIONS?
We cater for all religions.
WHAT WEDDING PLANNING SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
We offer Full Planning, Partial Planning, Venue Sourcing, Supplier Sourcing, On the Day Coordination and Design & Styling services.
DO YOU ACCEPT COMMISSIONS OR KICKBACKS FROM ANY VENDORS?
No. We do not accept any commissions or kickbacks from suppliers and will only refer qualified, reputable suppliers who will best suit your wedding or event needs, style and budget.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR AN INITIAL CONSULTATION?
Our initial consultations are complimentary. This is a chance for us to get to know each other to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
DO YOU CHARGE AN HOURLY RATE, A FLAT RATE OR A PERCENTAGE OF MY OVERALL WEDDING OR EVENT BUDGET?
Depending on your requirements and the type of event, we will either charge a flat rate or a percentage of your overall budget for your customised wedding or event planning service. We will also issue you with a payment schedule tailored to your needs prior to signing a contract.
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR SERVICES?
In most cases, a non-refundable deposit of £250 is required to secure our services and your chosen date(s).
WHAT ADDITIONAL TYPES OF EVENTS DO YOU SERVICE?
Anniversaries, Baby Showers, Milestones, Birthdays, Bridal Showers, Proposals, Engagement Parties, Graduations, Holiday Parties, LGBT Weddings, Proms, Charity Events, Corporate Events, Dinner Dances, Exhibitions, Conferences, Networking Events etc.
HOW MUCH COMMUNICATION WILL WE HAVE?
We have a policy to respond to all emails and phone messages in a timely manner. We will respond to all messages within 24 business hours.
HOW MANY WEDDINGS OR EVENTS WILL YOU COORDINATE PER DAY?
Lace Sixpence will only take one wedding or event booking per day.
WILL YOU BE AT MY ACTUAL WEDDING DAY?
Absolutely. We will personally be at your event along with any assistants if required.
HOW MANY ASSISTANTS WILL YOU HAVE ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Assistants may be utilised where you have multiple locations, a large bridal party or large guest numbers. We will always inform you if we plan on utilising assistants.
HOW DO YOU DRESS FOR OUR EVENT?
We will wear branded professional attire suited to the service we are providing you with.
WILL YOU EAT AND DRINK DURING THE WEDDING OR EVENT?
Since weddings can turn into 12+ hour days, supplier meals during your wedding reception are much appreciated. We are there to do a job and will absolutely not drink any alcohol or join your guests on the dance floor.
